Orders, Shipping & Returns

Placing an Order

Please contact us directly at either info@finusafoods.com or call/text us at (270) 558-8004 to place your order. We accept Zelle, Venmo, and check payments.  We can accept credit card payment but there will be an additional 4% (third party processing fee) of the total added to the final payment.

 

How We Box Your Order

All orders with perishable products are boxed with insulation and dry ice (or gel packs for non-frozen products).

 

What Is Dry Ice?

Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide and does not have any water. It has a temperature of -119F and evaporates instead of melts.  Even though it evaporates, its coldness stays within the box ensuring that the products remain cold during transit. 

 

Shipping

The United Parcel Service (UPS) is our ground and air shipping partner and H&M Bay Trucking is our reefer carrier. Most orders are usually processed and shipped within one business day from the time the order payment is received. Although we do our best to ship all orders within this time frame, we may be slightly delayed during busy times or if there is a “force majeure” caused by weather or other unforeseeable circumstances. Let us know if you need your order delivered by a certain date and we will do our best to accommodate that. If there are any problems in meeting your requested date, we will let you know.

The transit time between when UPS has picked up your order to when it will be delivered to you is usually between 2-3 days but can be longer depending on your geographical location. We provide free standard ground shipping on orders 5 lbs. and greater. If you need your order sooner, you may select UPS Second Day Air or UPS Next Day Air Services (availability varies by location) at an additional fee and must be placed before 2:00 pm CST to ship same day. Orders received after 2:00 pm CST will ship on the following business day.  These options guarantee that, as long as the items you ordered are in stock, the order will be prioritized in our system and arrive by the end of the following business day (Next Day Air Services), or the end of the second business day (Second Day Air Services). Please note these UPS services are not available for reefer carrier orders.

Orders to Hawaii and Alaska can only be shipped via Second Day Air or Next Day Air Services. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not ship by ground services to these two states.

Once UPS has picked up your order, you will be sent tracking information. Please note that once UPS has custody of your order package any change to the delivery address will result in an additional $25.00 charge and will delay your order delivery by 24-48 hours. For orders being delivered to businesses, UPS requires the business name otherwise delivery will be delayed, and in some cases, cancelled.

For pallet orders requiring reefer carrier, pick up is always on Fridays so orders must be placed and paid no later than the Wednesday before pick up. H&M Bay Trucking will contact you to schedule delivery date and time, which is normally within 7 days from pick up time.

Currently, we do not ship internationally.

 

Return Policy

All food products are non-returnable. Once UPS has delivered your order you are responsible for storing or handling the products properly to maintain food quality and safety. Refunds and reships are assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you have concerns about the condition of your order or how it was processed, please notify us within 24 hours from delivery time and we will do our best to rectify the problem. If your order was delayed by UPS, we will work with UPS to expediate delivery.  Outside of a “force majeure” situation, if your order was delayed and spoilage occurred, was damaged, or was never delivered, we will file a claim with UPS and work with you to get your order refilled or refunded.
